To attach the roll and tilt stabilization to the Flight Controller on the MK board go to the link below for details. For MK FC ME 2.1 the servo's can be connected to the bottom pins as shown in the link - SV2 tilt=nick and SV3 roll=roll. The MK FC ME 2.0 will require a recom regulator fitted to the FC first - install a higher 6.5 volt regultor for the photohigher gimbals....see link below for details: please read the data sheet before installing this regulator, incorrect installation may damage the MK FC. available in the USA from Digikey : and in Europe from Farnell To center the roll and tilt simply connect the servo's, callibrate the craft so the FC is active and then manually turn each potentiometer till the roll cradle and tilt tray are centred...then tighten the fixing screw for the tilt potentiometer and the 12.7mm nut on the roll potentiometer. Settings adjusted in the Kopter tool as required - it is best to reduce the setting values to a minumin and then increase until the optimum values are found. Make sure you have installed the latest firmware for the MK. See instruction images here |
