Droidworx ECM -
76cm - 6 engine and also a
91cm - 8 engine craft (hence 766, 918)

We have settled on the design of this craft
after 6 months of research into the elements
and features and prototype parts are now
being made for the first test machines in
the Droidworx Multi-Lab. We have gathered
all our knowledge and put it into practice
providing a high quality multi-functional craft
that fits in your hand luggage, no unplugging
wires or unscrewing bolts, it folds down in 30
seconds and the camera and its mounting
removes just as quickly.

New Features - where it counts

The craft has some other special features
which are a culmination of all our learning over
this year and we are proud to announce this
most complete and comprehensive Multi-Rotor
craft.

Folding Suspension Landing gear

Apart from the folding booms, the craft
also has suspension on the landing gear, which
is adjustable for lightweight and heavyweight
rigs with two settings, reducing impact
shock or the "bouncing airframe" on bumpy
landings.

The landing gear folds up and away within just
a few seconds, no bolts or nuts to remove, and
changing from hard to soft suspension takes
about a minute.

New Adjustable Vibration Dampening

We know what works and we've made
a new system which can be adjusted in multiple
settings for various camera loads...in the
field, with ease... and this also takes only seconds to complete.

Removable Camera Fixing

The whole camera mounting and anti-vibration
assembly comes off...in 10 seconds. Separate
from the craft and the landing gear assembly
to minimize high and low frequency vibration.

Backwards Compatible with all V series craft

All the features on the ECM are compatible with
all the AD series craft, going back to the
beginning - and, as always, cost price upgrades
for all our previous customers for their V1,V2 or
V3 craft. So if you own a Droidworx V series
AD craft and want to make it into an ECM, you
can. And we have done this because you are
important to us; and we believe that this is
sound business practice and responsible
manufacturing.

At time of release of the ECM we will invite all AD series craft owners to have an opportunity
to place cost price upgrade orders - for a specified period - this will also be available for
all customers who buy an AD Series craft
between now and the ECM actual release date.

It's a New Model - the AD V3 continues

The hugely successful and much loved AD - V3
series craft will continue, with the added
advantage that if you decide you need any of
the features of the ECM down the track... you
can fit them to your AD V series craft at any
time...

The ECM will be sold separately and as a model
all on its own, its more expensive to produce
and therefore it will be a dearer craft to buy,
but still within the affordable price bracket of
all Droidworx quality Multi-Rotor airframes.

Release Date - expect Q1 2012.

Final Prototyping of this craft is now complete
and we are now going to the tooling phase
of the project. Sigificant improvements have
been made since the first design and test
models. Expected release still Q1 2012.

All the unique elements of this craft are
subject to international IP (Intellectual
Property) laws.
